Why translate fiction? Eric Jansen’s guests are Bay Area novelists Sylvia Brownrigg and K.M. Soehnlein, who have both won Lambda Literary Awards for LGBT fiction and whose work has been translated into other languages.  They share some of their own work with us and some of the great world literature that has inspired, informed and influenced them. Soehnlein and Brownrigg are among seven authors in the Center for the Art of Translation’s Voices Carry — “a celebration of international literature” — event in San Francisco April 20. (Live interview,  aired 7pm Thursday, April 11.)
