Meet the man behind a show we can’t name on the radio: Shit & Champagne – A Whitesploitation Comedy with Dance. D’Arcy Drollinger is an actor, dancer, playwright, director and choreographer of many shows, and wrote and stars in Shit & Champagne, now at San Francisco’s new bar and queer performance space, Oasis.
Drollinger is a partner in the new club, which opened New Year’s Eve, and says its cabaret-style showroom and stage are “a dream come true” in this interview with Out in the Bay‘s Eric Jansen. You’ll also hear clips from S&C, and about D’Arcy’s life, career and Sexitude, his weekly dance class for all ages, genders, shapes and abilities. (Eric digs it, you can too!
Shit & Champagne – A Whitesploitation Comedy with Dance is on the boards Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm through February 14 at OASIS, 298 – 11th Street at Folsom, San Francisco. Go early for best seats and to see the pole dancers in action! Tix and info at SFoasis.com.
